An artist dormant, not!

Invitation:

To celebrate the rich history and record of the 100-year-old ‘Fotocollective Zutphense’ which is also the oldest photographic society in the Netherlands; ‘The Stedelijk Museum Zutphen’ is hosting a photographic exhibition. The exhibition is scheduled from 28 January 2023 to 14 May 2023 in Zutphen, a Hanseatic city that just turned 1000 years since its once fortified medieval city walls were first erected.

The venue cannot be any better to merit the upcoming exhibition, as it not only houses the largest collection of more than 450,000 archived photographs but even more significantly, holds the oldest photograph made in The Netherlands in the year 1839. 1839 in turn is the very year when photography was invented both as a medium of science and art.

Amongst the work of other fellow photographers, one of my own works - never exhibited before and in limited edition - will be there for your personal viewing at the Stedelijk Museum Zutphen. My participation in the exhibition makes it the first, in which I resume taking part, following the move to The Netherlands from Germany, the pandemic, and the aftermath.
